The K.N.O.W. Program

The Warner Park Community Recreation Center’s K.N.O.W. program provides free, safe, and welcoming activities for about 150 northside teens each week, offering basketball, mentorship, and afterschool programs that build skills, foster belonging, and improve lives.

Learning Series Free Events

The Madison Parks Foundation supports the Learning Series to provide free, year-round programs and equipment that let everyone—regardless of income—learn new activities, connect, and enjoy our parks.

Goodman Pool Access Scholarships

Madison Parks Foundation helps keep the Goodman Pool accessible and welcoming for all—funding passes for families in need, supporting free swim lessons, and providing life jackets and other essential safety gear.

Accessible Parks & Playgrounds

From fully inclusive playgrounds and beach mats at city beaches to accessibility upgrades at The Glen Golf Park and Goodman Pool, MPF is removing barriers so everyone can connect, play, and belong.

Live at The Glen

Live at The Glen brings music, art, and community to one of Madison’s most scenic parks. What began as a summer concert series has grown into a year-round celebration of creativity and connection—with free, inclusive events that welcome everyone to experience the magic of The Glen.

Supporting Community-Led Projects

In addition to our Parks for All initiatives, the Madison Parks Foundation partners with neighborhood groups, local donors, sponsors and volunteers to bring community-driven projects to life — from restoring natural areas to building new neighborhood amenities.
