Expanding Our Dog Parks

A Place for Pups and People

Madison’s dog parks continue to be some of our most loved and well-used spaces. This year, the Foundation has been working closely with community partners and city staff to improve amenities and make sure these parks remain welcoming for both pets and their humans.

Recent Progress

• Upgrades in Motion: New fencing and improved trail surfacing are underway at several dog park locations, ensuring safety and accessibility year-round.

• Green Space Enhancements: Additional shade trees and seating areas are being added to provide comfort for owners while pups play.

• Community Support: Through donor contributions and volunteer help, we’ve been able to fund water stations and agility equipment that keep dogs active and happy.

Looking Ahead

The Foundation is committed to expanding off-leash opportunities across Madison. Plans are in development for future dog-friendly spaces and upgrades, giving more neighborhoods access to safe, clean, and fun areas for recreation.
