How to Start a Project      Current Projects

As a 501 ( c ) 3 organization, we are a valuable resource for neighborhood park projects. As a tax exempt repository for the funds you raise for your project, we promptly send thank you letters to your donors indicating the amount of their donations for tax purposes. All project donations are earmarked to your specific improvements and can be accessed readily when your project is completed.

Online Donations:
In addition, the Foundation can serve as a quick and easy to use resource for your supporters who wish to donate online. For a nominal annual charge, we can equip you with a PayPal donation button for posting on your website. All donations are promptly acknowledged by PayPal and subsequently sent a thank you letter by the Foundation. Supporters can earmark their donations to your specific account at the Foundation.

For those without a website, or who wish the added benefit of having their project listed on the Foundation’s website, we offer the option of a landing page on the Noteworthy Projects page.

Use of Madison Parks Foundation Website Agreement

Many times, the donations collected by your neighborhood for a park project can be matched by the City’s “People for Parks” matching grant program. It’s great for your donors to know that for every dollar you raise, one additional dollar is available for your project from the People for Parks fund.
