BUILD YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD PARK

How to Start a Project      Current Projects     Fundraising Help

Jungle GymMadison has many active and involved citizens, park user groups and neighborhood association board members, many of whom undertake fundraising efforts to improve parks within their boundaries. Often these are specific small projects to compliment planned improvements scheduled by the Parks Division.  Frequently, as well, individual citizens see a need and enlist support from neighbors and other local resources. The Madison Parks Foundation provides these groups a place to deposit donations, coordinates payments and ensures tax deductibility.

Tenney ParkThe Madison Parks Foundation acts as the tax exempt repository for funds raised by these groups, simplifying the group's task by assuming all tax reporting activities. All project donations are earmarked for a group's specific improvements.

If you wish advice or assistance in forming an organization to improve a neighborhood park, we can help. Please visit How to Start a Project to download an application form to enroll your project.
